Valentines Treats

I found this recipe in the Feb. issue of Ladies Home Journal. Conner and I made them tonight and they turned out great.
Here is the recipe:
Caramel squares, vanilla wafer cookies, lollipop sticks, chocolate chips and Valentine sprinkles.
Melt caramels in a microwave according to directions Working quickly spoon small dollops of caramel onto cookies. Place lollipop stick in center and top each with another cookie to make a sandwich. Melt chocolate chips according to package. Dunk each cookie sandwich in chocolate and shake gently to remove excess. Top lollipops with sprinkles and place on wax or parchment paper. Chill until firm.
Here they are with all the caramel inside.

Next, dip in chocolate
Conner came up with this brilliant idea to let the suckers set up by poking holes in an empty cereal box.
Genius, pure genius!

And here they are all done!

Happy Valentines Everyone.
